Default Sky Broadband

Hi,

Need some help, and I suppose what I really am asking is

Do you work for Sky?

If so can you help me out please.

I tried last night to order sky broadband.
Took ages to get through on the phone and eventually someone who could bearly string 2 words of english together basically said that I can't have the middle band for £5.00 per month and I would have to pay the "Sky Connect" package which would be £17 per month because the check she ran on the phone line failed.

I really tried to question her, but the language barrier broke talks down.

So, if you work for sky would you mind if I gave you my home telephone number and ask you to check out the above claim please.

Many thanks,

Shaun

You should be able to do it yourself.

If you go to Samknows - Availability checker

put in your phone number... if it is easynet enabled then you can get the cheap sky service.

Good link - its says i'm good to go.

But....so does sky's website when you enter you're phone number/postcode.

I just get the feeling that they were trying to shaft me with the £17 connect package.

I'll try them again anyway and take it from there.

Ask to speak to somebody in the Uk. Winds me up dealing with these chumps who you know are working through a list of set responses with no real clue as to how to help. they're always called Dave as well for some reason.

I am with Sky broadband.

Customer service is not the best in the world but you'll get more answers to your questions here Sky User - The unofficial support forum for everything Sky! than from customer service support team.

Good luck.

Cheers,

Actually found that site when trying to figure out what type of wireless router they'll send me.
