Default Trying to sound proof pc

anyone know much about sound proofing?

Is it better to have denser foam or softer foam?

See theres pc cases on net but there £70 and I like mine. So thought ill try and sound proof it. Any times. Tired once using MDF 12mm thick and made like no difference. And im sure its something to do with softer is better so it sucks noise in. anyone know?

You need to have a look here mate..everything you could poss need to know about quieting down your PC. Sound proofing is one way but if you haven't done already worth changing out any fans for quieter ones etc..
