Help..... I'm in trouble if I don't get my Work burned to CD today
I'm running Windows XP ,a dn for some reason it's decided not to see my CD Drives. I tried removing them and XP detected them, and said New hardware found.
But now this error comes up in Device manager for both drives
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
Troubleshoot is no use.. what can I do?? I know nothing about registrys
Thanks
Andy

Have you removed the CD drives in control panel, rebooted and let XP find them again. Removing them should clear the registry entries.
Nothing weird about these drives ( usb, scsi etc, etc) is there ?

There's nothing weird about them, just normal ones. I have removed them, it detected and reinstalled them after a reboot, but now I get this error, and i cannot see them
