Recommend me a game - 360
Hi guys,
I need some advice in relation to my next game choice, i really enjoyed Oblivion with its ability to walk around a map & pick up missions & also a decent main storyline there as well. I also like the oldish world it was set in.
Are there any games out there at the moment like this ?
I seen fable 2 & it looks kinda similar in the way it works.
Any ideas ?
TIA

Fallout 3 if you liked Oblivion that much - exactly the same sort of game but set in a Nuclear wasteland.
Loads of other Sandbox games to try - GTA4. Crackdown, Just Cause, Assasin's Creed...

Crackdown was excellent an underrated game over shadowed by the attraction of having the Halo 3 demo on it.
Whereas on the other hand another sandbox game called Mercenaries 2 should be avoided as it was ****,it was buggy (i got all the achievements without doing ½ the stuff) they may have patched it now tbh

Assassins Creed is quite good, i enjoyed it, got a little samey, especially that woman who shouts "just a few coins" but i enjoyed it all the same.
probably pick it up for pennies now!
Viking battle of Asgard is the same kind of thing, but set in "norse" times. should also be able to pick up this for pennies

Fable II is very good but no where near as deep as oblivion and will take you a tenth of the time to complete but its a good game.

Loved Oblivion. Fallout 3 wasn't bad, but is much smaller and personally I didn't think the story was as good.
Fable II is very enjoyable, just a bit short.

It has got a save option you know. You can play it in 30 second chunks if you so desire. Don't understand why having a long engaging storyline is a bad thing? Just means the game will last longer and be more value for money. Even at 140 hours, I was sorry when it finished

I was wondering what to play next but i'll go back to Oblivion, I'm getting there on the fighters guild 3/4 of the main quest but only started on each of the other guilds...2009 needs to be a dry year for games else it will never be done.

i don't know how you do it, or find the time for it!, i don't mind going for points on a game i really love, but some of the more average ones i simply can not bring myself to play through them again to chase the points.
i do feel like i have cheated myself a little, if i pay full RRP and get less then 500 points from a game lol

i think i got around 110 for devil may cry 4, i was a bit gutted tbh, i thought the human and devil hunter modes meant you got different characters so i "picked" the human one
it was not until i finished it and realised it was on the easiest difficulty (should have read the instructions) and i could not be arsed to play through it again to get more points, i worked out that you had to complete it around 6/7 times to unluck all the difficultys, and i just could not be arsed, i traded it in within 2 weeks of release (paid £40 iirc) while it was still worth somthing, with a view of buying a cheap second hand copy once it was worth next to nothing to play it again

Save just before you're about to level up to 9, 15 and 20 (think they are correct), then do the good/neutral/evil things all in one go. Easiest way to get bad karma is head to the pub in megaton, in to the back room and keep hacking the guys console, load up save and repeat rinse. That's assuming you have good karma to start with
