I've got a basic website (about 5 pages) that I want to get hosted. Don't really want to pay for it, as I don't get any revenue from it. I use it more as an advertisement

I use LCN for the actual name - just need some space to upload it all to.

Any thoughts?

I think that's the only catch. One thing, it might be quite slow and possibly go down once in a while, but to be honest, it's free, so what can you really expect. Bloody good services too, how many free places do you find that will allow you multiple sql databases and such like. Very handy for CMS and Forum stuff.

As it's for my music production stuff, I wouldn't want to inconvenience you!

Well, the X10 site is EASY to register BUT I'll be fooked if I can set it up.

I use Fetch (FTP) - uploaded my files as per my "old" method. Nothing is coming up.

The reason I *think* is down to the hierarchy in where you put the files.
I can't work it out!!

It's free. For a reason imho!! LOL!!

I take it you are pointing a domain name to where your hosting is (DNS), if so this can take a bit to get going, some are instant some 24hrs

That X10 site is slow tho
