Cool Kaspersky Internet Security 2010

We have an offer of 50% off for a 5 user licence for this through work at the moment.

Anyone got experience of what it's like? One person here said they put it and their machine ra like a dog (some years ago though) another has said it is very good.

Worth a punt or not?

You can pick up 2009 for under £10 for a 3 user licence which entitles you to download and use 2010 too. I have this on 3 machines at the moment (2xWin7 and 1xVista) and I'm not overly impressed with performance to be honest, but I'll stick with it until it expires.

Oh, and it's free for Barclays customers IIRC.

Never had a problem with Kaspersky tbh, had a few others (norton/mcafee etc) and kaspersky is definately much better (especially 2010 as its got some nice new features )

I tried my activation code I got from Barclays with 2010 and it said it wasn't valid?
Tried the trial of 2010 and thought it made the PC really sluggish so took it off.

I am very pleased with it, especially after Norton.

They also have a very helpful and quick response UK help line which is a godsend to someone like me who works away from an office environment.

Cool

I notice that Bit Defender and F Secure also get very good reviews.

Any experience of these?

I've used bitdefender, Avast, AVG and others....

Kaspersky is by far the best and does exactly what it's meant to do. Very good and worth the money!!

Yet to hear a bad review off kaspersky, certainly has a very good reputation.

I use Kaspersky too. Ran it for a few years now without any problems. It hardly slows your machine down, if at all, especially compared to Norton.
