I also heard the expected price of this had shot up quite a bit.
I have the old vision cam, you can get the odd game which will have you diving about the living room like a spacker, it is not really for me to be honest.
I would have had a punt for about 40-50quid, but the last reported price i had seen was three times that

Can't see the point. Just MS jumping on the Wii wagon. My Wii hasn't been switched on for over a year, didn't even bother at the usual Wii time of family Christmas!

Today at E3, Microsoft announced the new Xbox 360 with a new smaller frame with a new shiny black casing. Aside from the new look, the base model will also have built-in Wi-Fi 802.11N and a 250 GB HDD.

For folks in the UK and Europe the new Xbox will be available on July 16.
The specifications are as follows:
Touch sensitive buttons - turn the Xbox 360 on/off and eject a disc with the swipe of a finger

Hard drive - 250GB internal, swappable hard drive for even more storage
Kinect ready - Custom Kinect port on the back of the console that directly hooks up to the Kinect sensor
USB slots - Five USB ports, three on the back of the console and two in the front
AV connections - AV cable, HDMI, optical audio
Power supply - smaller and more efficient

The custom kinect port thing is a bit weird, wonder if they have jiggled the new console a little so the new kinect thing works better on it.
45mm tech is good, but come on, the 360 is feeling its age a bit now imo, its starting to get left behind in a noticeable way regarding new release graphics.

The 250GB drive is a welcome addition.
If this new console has a custom port for this stupid Kinect thing, does that mean it won't fit the older consoles?
