I get raped because of my HDD
I plan on picking up a SSD at some point, just for windows & the odd heavy game like Arma2 (it really grinds hard discs), the rest i will store on my normal drives.
I am not that convinced that the windows test means anything at all to be honest, i seam to runs games well enough, apart from the ones that are heavy on the hard disc streaming for textures.

The un-popular Intel 80 Gb ( 34nm ?) drive.
It's stunning, after waiting ages for the BIOS to clear it just seems to start instantly, just like the old C64 !
LOL
dunx
P.S. Funnily I only got it (at Xmas) due to stock shortages on most of the other drives...
P.P.S. A 5850 only "scores" 7.6, does that mean I have to save up even more money ?

Source of mine, beware early models on ebay that don't have TRIM support AFAIK.
dunx
P.S. Bit-tech reviews are a good source of info.

Windows 7 will not give more than 5.9 for any mechanical hard drive, you can read about it on technet. (velociraptor or not) hence all the 5.9 scores above for HDD

Remember this scoring is only out of 7.9 for each as a maximum.
Oh well at least I achieve the fastest Processor and Memory scores on the thread, if nothing else.
7.7 i7 @ 4ghz
7.7 6gb
7.5 2 x HD5700 in cross fire
7.5 ""-------------------""
5.9 1tb 7500rpm HD

Ah well, looks my poor little laptop is being left behind, only getting 5.9.
It is well balanced. CPU, memory, disk all at 5.9. GPU up to 6.2.
Dell XPS M1530 with a couple of tweaks.
