So far, I've managed to record one side of one vinyl LP to the PC. I'm now on with others.
Can anyone explain, in layman's terms, please, how to put a marker between tracks so that tracks are divided up and easier to find when playing the CD?
TIA

I started this process a few years back to get all my vinyl to CD (a few tens of albums rather than hundreds) thinking it'll be 'easy peasy'. To split up all the tracks and try to ensure the sound is as 'clean' as possible is a very labour intensive task. Basically I'm now just buying the CD versions ... ![Idea](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/idea.gif)

I like vinyl sound,i have few hundred of vinyl's from new to oldies(70's,80's).
If i want CD sound,i use the Beatport,Juno etc.
For recording vinyl i use M-Audio Delta 10/10(some external sound cards are good, like Digidesign M-Box,M-Audio Fast Track) which have amazing sound alone, and i use lots of FX VSTi,DX plugins(EQ,Compressors,Gate,Delays,Reverbs etc.)from Waves(are expensive, but worth every penny)...

Nero 7 will work with most windows, spent most of my time removing boomy bass from 60s music,It is a question of taste,as you get older your hearing lose the ability to hear high notes,I have vinyl albums,cd versions of lots of artists,I just love to feed music thro pc mod it awesome,
