Default Why does Windows keep asking me.....

..........for permission to "finish installing software for the Webcam"..I bought, and installed it over two years ago? WITH all it's software.

Doesn't make any sense, but every time I boot up, there it is

Type msconfig in the search box or Run command and stop the program from starting up at boot.

have you tried uninstalling the webcam and its software and starting again? could be something corrupt in the registry.

Download CCleaner and go to Tools->Startup and there you can disable or enable Startup programs,easy and free

it will be because it cannot write to your user profile correctly, it is probably not a "profile aware" installer/application and it needs adminstrator permissions to install
(and is probably trying to put application data somewhere where your OS doesn't want it too)

Make sure you are a full administrator on the PC and turn the User Account Control feature off whilst you install it
