Ok guys been an avid Giganews subscriber for 4 years and decided to save a few bob and go astra, they had good reviews and such like cheap too 50 quid for the year.

Anyway over a month ive been testing their speeds all ok maxs out my 50mb, but the incosistancy in incomplete files really sucks, with not even the Par files working.

So i re-subscribed to giganews and ran 2 weeks worth of testing.

Astra had 50% success

Giganews 100% perfect files.

Just shows what u get if you use Giganews. Still the best by far

I used to be with Astraweb and I had the same problems as you. Loads of incompletes and also inconsistent speed.
I changed to Supernews and have never had a problem. They might be worth considering for you as they are a Giganews reseller.

Never have a problem here with astraweb. Odd incomplete every now and again.

Get a steady 61mb/sec

Astranews user here. never had a problem with speed. 5.9 - 6.1 MB/sec solid everytime with 20 connection for £7 a month. Giganews may have a monopoly but too expensive for my taste. Incompletes few and far between and only on really old binaries. 1.5 TB downloaded last month with no probs.

Cool

Another Astraweb user here, no problems for me either. Giganews is way overpriced, I don't know how they get away with it.
