Default BF3 problems

Xbox360 btw.

Starting to get really narked with it.

Unable to connect, crashes, freezes, spawns without guns and crashes.

Its a BRILLIANT game but its getting to the point where I play for 10 mind then it crashes or has another problem.

Seriously thinking about asking for my money back. First time in 20 years of gaming.

Anyone else having these problems?

Nothing as bad as you [PS3 here]. When its working it great but when its not its frustrating.

Reading the EA Forums it seems many players on both console platforms (me included) are now having issues joining UK servers. You go to join and it just times out saying check your network connection. My connection is fine as can join the DICE Official Servers (which are laggy as hell and the hit reg is very poor) and other games work fine. UK servers were a lot better until some foreign johnny from Mexico, Japan etc joined and lagged everyone out.

Unfortunately the only other BF game I played was 2142 on the PC and that was buggy as hell. One day youd load it up and nope cant connect to any server. In the end had to reinstall the entire game to get back in. Frustrating but seems the norm for DICE / EA unfortunately.

Yes, its installed, and up to date incl the Kirkland pack.

I was hoping the Kirkland update would sort it out - but its exactly the same, if not worse.

I have plenty of space on my HDD, and other than a couple of demos there is nothing else on my HDD. Every single other game plays fine.

There are literally hundreds of threads on other forums about this - I am currently trying to find a contact for EA but tbh their website is a joke and I cant even find an address to write too - let alone a support email. Added to that their own web page is so slow it does not surprise me that their actual game servers are so crap. 30+ seconds to load a basic webpage...

**** update ****
Been advised to browse servers and use the dice servers only and so far so good. Had about 10 - 15 rounds over last 2 days and only 1 crash. Before I was just doing a quick join.

Ah. Havent used Quick Match since Beta days as its random game type you join and server region.

I personally find the hit reg on the DICE servers appalling so stick to the UK ones. On PSN at least they have LHRPS3 in the title. Doesnt stop johnny foreigner joining and lagging everyone out - probably as they used Quick Match and DICE plonked them on a UK server
