Default Problem with camcorder software

Hi

I have recently bought a Canon VIXIA HFM40 camcorder.

I have loaded the software calle Videobrowser from Pixela that came bundled, however it fails to start.

Immediately is shows Videobrower.exe has stopped working and that Windows will look for a solution. The program then closes.

I have uninstalled, reloaded, gone to the Pixela site and downloaded a Ver1 as mine came with Ver1.2 and no difference.

Very annoying as I has problems with my older Panasonic camera not having the option to connect to a PC and hence why I have bought a new camera.

Any ideas?

Is this on win7? is the app supported in win7? Try running it in XP compatibility mode. Or ask Canon if they have an update for 7 or another solution. Worst case it simply might not be supported in win7.

Wierd. Try logging on as another user n see if it installs under that. If it does then there might be something up with your other user account/configuration.
