just been playing bf3 ( i am improving !!) - except I have just put an a.p.c in a swimming pool (a bit like Keith Moon - except his was a Rolls Royce!)

Gulf of Oman - come down the beach, around the back of the hotel, through the fence = swimming pool (don't do it - u cant get out................. )

Its annoying when you roll your tank and are helpless. Also when you go out of limits then try to reverse but get stuck on something and panick

I can drive !!! - I just like smashing into things - I couldn't resist smashing thru the wooden fence at full chat and was going too fast to stop !!!!!!!!!!

Choppers I prefer to be gunner as far easier to get kills with the cannon and guided missile. If I end up as pilot I prefer to be on my own as otherwise you end up with a numpty gunner who shoots nothing but grass and hasnt got flares enabled. Its mucho fun annoying the ground troups with their igla's / stingers when you hop between seats and just keep dishing out flare after flare. Only prob is when you get a decent tank driver with a 3rd person in CITV turrent then its game over unless you keep super low.

Gulf of Oman was one of my favourite maps when flying the MEC Bomber on BF2, and that Hotel flag was always on the most hotly contested - a good pilot gunner combo on that plane could almost own the map

The Chinese oilfields map though was the one I got my 52 kill streak while flying the chinese bomber... Ahh they were the days...

I was playing this map last - spawning on top of the hotel and being slaughtered by a really good helicopter/gunner combo.
No-one in the squad had a stinger 'loadout' -- then on respawning EVERYBODY had one !!

we lost in the end, but it was mainly due to the 'copter ;(
