Time to get myself a new phone. Any recommendations. I use about 500 mins a month, 100 text and average about 500Mb of web stuff.

Chip, I posted on a thread in the Computer section on a similar subject.
I've just gone for a 24 month contract on the Sony Xperia Z, 500 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited data £24/Month on T-mobile. Saved a fortune on having to buy a full HD video camera as one comes installed on the phone
as well as having a bravia2 5" screen if that sort of thing chops your onions

Have a look at http://www.billmonitor.com which will analyse your usage and recommend a tariff (and phones) to suit.

Nexus 4 8GB >>> https://play.google.com/store/device...id=nexus_4_8gb @ £239.00
Nexus 4 16GB >>> https://play.google.com/store/device...id=nexus_4_8gb
Sim free, the 8GB works out at less than a tenner a month spread over 24 months and you own the phone outright, plus no contract.
Get a sim free deal like giffgaff, choose the right tariff, probably £15 a month would do you, so for £25 a month, you could get what you're after and not be tied into a 2 year contract. If your circumstances change you can change your tariff, cancel it, sell the phone, do whatever you like, whenever you like.
