So smashed it a few weeks ago, usable but still annoyed.
Im in Washington DC for 2 weeks on business, so ive booked into the Genius Bar with Apple, I was told they will swap it for 249 Dollars

Which isn't that bad TBH, taking into mind uk charges are about 80 to 110 for just a screen swap. so that's 160 ish for a new Reconditioned IPAD.

Im gonna see if I can upgrade but probably no chance.

I don't want to buy a new 1 outright as the newer one should be coming along shortly.

you do realise in the uk they will swap it out too! they never swap the screen

Yeah ant I'm here for a week or 2 and its slightly cheaper I think, it worked out 165 quid uk I think is 250

Ah yes ant sorry prices for the screen in the uk were 75 to 110 depending who you used and what glass they used

Apple won't swap the glass, instead that charge double but swap the pad even out of warranty
