About to buy New PDA - Bluetooth IPAQ?
#1
Hi all,
I need to buy a new PDA for an executive at work....he currently has a HP Journada, but the socket connection in the bottom of it is fooked.....I was looking at the new Compaq Ipaq H3870 with built in Bluetooth.....can I put a bluetooth PCi card (is there such a thing?) into his Desktop PC and his Secretary's desktop PC to allow for wireless HotSync'ing?
Does Active Sync work with bluetooth?
I thank you.....

Have a look at the Fujitsu Siemens PocketLOOX. It does all that you specify above and is far better !!

Yeah you need a bluetooth card in the relevant PC you are syncing to unless its an FSC B series Lifebook that has it built in !!
The GPRs module is not available yet - will be in a matter of a couple of months, and i was told that the PDAs are generally available from June.
Cant resist a free plug !!!!!!!!
