Now the regime is being toppled our boys are being welcomed in the streets...........unless they're all extras shipped in from Hollywood by the CIA

the politicians who argued for this war to rid saddam of his chemical weapons must be getting a little worried now....cos it looks like they ain't gonna find any. Wonder how mr blair will get round that one.

fantastic excuse to get rid of an oppressive regime
Don't forget the people can't just nip down to the travel agents and book a nice break to Majorca like we can do....all the things we take for granted are not possible over there
The people are pulling down statues etc etc...it's up to the powerful to protect the weak....anyway if they don't find any WMD I'm sure they'll come up with something

one man's oppression is another man's 'sharia law'. There are lots of things you can't do in Saudi that we would take for granted here...doesn't mean we should roll the tanks into Jeddah...

Yeah I undestand a tree hugger is one of these hippy types or were hippy's back in the good old days who think it's hip/trendy to be antiwar when obviously the people of Iraq apart from the obvious ones who did well under the regime are clearly more than happy to see the British Army

"Winning" the war in Eyeraq means nothing...Terrorists have lots and lots of time...Do you seriously think that once Sadam is killed all Iraqis will suddenly see you as their saviours? They might kiss-@ss, but secretly each and every one of them who'd lost a parent/brother/sister will be kindling a flame of hatred and plotting to kill one of yours. Yeah the war in Iraq will be over. But the real fun will only just be beginning...And I think the USA/UK civilians will suffer the consequences for the next 20 years.

Thanks for the definition CC. Well I feel better for not being a tree hugger then. Although I did not agree with starting this war without the backing of the UN and therefore going against International Law, as soon as it started then I have supported the troops 100% and just want the whole business over successfully with as little loss of troops and innocent Iraqis as possible.
I think there are quite a few of us who think like that.
I hope they do find absolute proof of WMD's now , or the US/UK will lose face really badly in the eyes of the World.
