In India, the cow is considered a sacred and holy animal. Yet I wouldnt think twice of slaughtering one and eating some nice steak.
Before anyone starts, i'm trying to point out the ill-thought comparison here. And yes, I love hamburgers and bacon sandwiches sandwiches...

Eastern Europeans immigrants are feasting on our national treasures.
WHy cant they just go to KFC like the rest of us.

It must be a sign that our system for providing for these immigrants is failing them. The free housing, free healthcare, free money effectively cannot be enough. We must now accept that they can help themselves to any food available in this country, protected species or not.
I think we, as decent hardworking residents of this country, should go out of our way, to capture, and prepare meals for these needy people, of swans, stuffed with red squirrels, and house sparrows, and any pedigree dog we can find that hasn't been skinned already...

Afterall, swans, immigrants... both species farmers specialise in... I can see the headlines now...

One of the reasons people are so annoyed by this, isn't the fact that a swan is just "wild-fowl", and can be "grown" by farmers, Moses, is that they are well known to be very loyal to their "partners".
When a swan mates with another, it tends to be for life, which makes this slaughter all the more sick.
The swan is a majestic bird, which graces our waterways here in the UK. One should be taken aback by its presence, not tempted to murder it for a quick snack.
That sort of behaviour is normally associated to wild animals. I wonder how much outrage would be voiced on here, if immigrants were caged as such...?

who gives a **** what people do or believe in other countries. this is *our* country and if immigrants want to come here they must play by *our* rules or **** off out. simple.
It's bad enough having swans killed and injured by thoughtless anglers without eastern europen scumbags helping themselves.

I haven't tried rabit - to be honest I don't like the thought of eating it! Same for Pigeon - i know a lot of people eat them - sounds wierd. I'm happy with beef, pork, lamb and chicken!
