I agree - used them since my Legacy Turbo in 95 and using them again even though there are nearer dealers.
1) They are independent (privately run) so they want your custom
2) The same technicians are there still
3) They know what they are doing
4) They have a nice coral coloured Justy loan car
3 out of 4 aint bad

They're not that local for me but I get my service done there everytime. Great bunch of people, always willing to help.
Better priced than others as well

My experince is new with these people but the car has always been looked after by them as it was the previous owners choice.
Found Bob very polite and helpful. I was having a window looked at and the techie came and fethced me to show me what the trouble was which is nice, so you know what is going on. Even took the bits of another car to show comparison.
Only one quibble so far. My car had the Subaru tow bar on that has a key to detach the knobbly bit. Previous owner spent £400 on that. I had it taken off as I don't intend to tow. They didn't give it me back and I was told that due to stresses etc on tow bar it is not recommended you ever re use one. I have had various feedback on this but the concensus is that it is not the case, and I shold have asked for it back?
At the time I took their word for it as I know nothing of towing - never done it. Just hope I dont find they were jerking me about on this as it will damage my "new customer" faith I wish to build in them.

Shouldn't worry about it - you could always ask if they still have it as you might have a use for it now.
Never been ripped off by them yet - I'm sure as I can be - always helpful and knowledgeable
