Do a search on google.co.uk for impreza importers. There are still a fair few.
Also look privately. Check these out thoroughly, try and fins one which has been imported/sold by a big/reputable company as it less likely to be stolen.
Buying privately/imports isn't as risky as the establishment try and make us believe. I am especially disappointed by some magazines like EVO (I have a subscription and love their reviews)
who always give a negative view on the import Imprezas. They are biased because Subaru/Prodrive supplies them with their test cars. Justifying the hike in price for a P1 over a sorted StiV5 is
impossible in my opinion.
Good luck. I've had an Sti V5 for 20 months and have not regretted one day (apart from Insurance renewal days...) service parts are easy to obtain and no different to the UK turbo.
I got mine for about 6/8 grand cheaper than a P1. Only if a P1 was 2/3 K more would I recommend it over the StiV5.
my 2 cents worth
