Just had a 45k serice done by these guys, chuffed to bits with it, car drives really nice and the whole lot was £330.

Seems as though i have got a blowing downpipe which i asked them to take a look at, and was then told that the now are able to sell the full range of Haywood an Scott exhausts, originally these were only available through one well known company.

chuffed to bits again now, as I have a local place who will work on my my93 wrx, and i can get my de-cat pipe fitted without having to trex round the M25

ps, no connection to subaru4u, just chuffed to bits that there is somewhere that can work on the car withouth charging stupid prices.

Are these inc VAT or ex VAT prices? Even if inc VAT, they don't appear to offer much saving over the Scoobysport prices, and of course S4U haven't had to stand the marketing costs.

These are inc vat prices,

i'm not saying they are the bargin of the year, but what i am saying is it somewhere else to get what is basically ss systems, as they are both made by H&S.

Scoobysport?? Who are they?

It's all very well saying they are not much cheaper, but at the end of the day they have them on the shelf ready to go.

I'm going to call in there this weekend.

The other part to this story is, SCOOBYSPORT CANNOT SUPPLY THESE SYSTEMS any longer.

Unhappy

Remember Scoobysport developed its exhaust and had H&S make it

I understand H&S quality has gone down[perhaps should read does not now reach scoobysports quality standards] hill and therefore Scoobysport are now having there exhausts made by a another company [supplier to SWRT] and according to there website have already sold the october production

H&S quality has gone down hill
I'm not sure thats the reason why, there are all kinds of rumours flying around doing neither company any good, maybe its time a comment was made by either of them, obviously without getting into a slanging match.

I dont know the full story either, i jsut know that there is a dispute between H&S and SS, and apparantly there are 20 odd full systems waiting at H&S with ScoobySport's name on them.

As said I am getting mine fitted by Subaru 4 U on Monday so will let you know what there like.

I had an exhaust on order from scoobysport but they kept promising delivery dates that they then didn't keep to and after 3 weeks they said that they "don't do exhausts any more and maybe never will do again". That wasn't very promising and since they'd had my £440 for 2 weeks already by that point i cancelled my order and went to H&S direct. The exhaust arrived first thing the next morning.

I have only heard one side of the story about the dispute so i can't comment on that but i would have just liked some more information as to what was going on. If i'd known they were just switching suppliers i probably would have waited.

To be honest, I would love to tell you the story, but I can't comment because the matter is in the hands of our solictors.

As Phil said, we have moved production to a different company and whilst there is some info in our news section http://www.scoobysport.co.uk/publics...icle.asp?id=28, the whole exhaust section will be updated later this week.

I can guarantee that all new exhaust parts will be produced to our proven designs, will be to the highest quality and they will fit perfectly.

Dear Subaru owners

We have been in business for over twenty years working in a inviroment where everybody soon knows if you do something wrong, and in fullness of time i'm sure you will be made aware of the reasons why we felt unable to trade any longer with Scooby Sport.
When we first developed the Impreza system three companys asked if they could have exculsive rights to sell for us, and we went with Scooby Sport.During this five year period we have had a good business relationship which has unfortunatly deteriorated through no fault of our own.

I'm sure there's two sides to this, at least H+S have new distributors and SS have a new system to sell, so hopefully no lasting damage done to either.

Now then, about some replacement STi7 discs/pads/hoses and brake fluid Pete, not the calipers tho, too skint.

FS, cant spell.

Ok, just to say that i had the downpipe fitted last night, and it is awesome.

Lovely deep crisp sound( i have a blitz system)definately better throttle response, and noticable gain in performance.

So impressed i'm having an up fitted at the weekend.

I can see why scoobysport have done so well with these exhausts, as these are the business.
