I have ordered a PPP for a STI 7 which should be here any day now.
However I am seriously considering ordering a MY03 STi for March.
Will I be able to change the PPP over or should I wait and buy one for the MY03 ?
Please help as I have had several theories on this but no definate Yes / No

Best ask prodrive. Although I think they'll say don't know yet.

In any case I doubt you'll be able to transfer the PPP over, as you'll have no standard MY02 STI ECU to be able to plug back in again.

Personal opinion: wait for the MY03 if you can at all.

Some people will tell you that the STI VII will be a collectors item due to rarity. My guess is that it will be rather unloved and used values will reflect this.

Look at the press release from Subaru - 3k off the WRX and WRX wagon. Come trade-in, I think you could be asked to drop your trousers and grab your ankles...

At the very least, use the press release of this morning as further a bargaining tool.

Dealer reckons that the Prodrive sti's will still retain good residuals That was on asking what mine was worth come trade-in.
