Exclamation

A guy at work wanted to buy one from there so we went to have a look (it's only up the road from the office)

Checked over the car, and exterior was a little tatty, but nothing major. The engine bay on the other hand was *too* clean. Had me thinking, but gave it the benefit of the doubt until we drove it.

Down the A3 the CEL (Check engine light) came on, the temperature gauge was in the red and there was steam coming out from the engine.

I drove it back off boost, and pointed out a list of common faults for him to check out! But I can see why they had the engine bay cleaned, because when we got back there was coolant everywhere!!

After seeing the salesman lack of knowledge, professionalism and inability to deal with the situation, I wouldn't buy a car from them.

The guy from work ended up finding a much better car, with UK history from a garage in Basingstoke.

Agree with Andy Tang, cars do look a bit tatty. Saw a few down there but they do have that 'straight off the boat look'.
