I had a front, two front sides and a rear window replaced by Autoglass after some ****** decided to scratch them with what can only be a glass cutter. My insurance company payed (bless them) and It ended up costing me £50.
The front passenger and drivers glass, plus the rear were geniune Subaru ones
I'm not sure about the front, but can't see any difference from the original. Seems exactly the same to me.
Hope this helps, Phill

Originally all windscreens and glass windows were made in Japan though they have now shifted to Mexico, you may find a slight difference in shades of tint.
Though I believe autoglass gets their glass from the Mexico manufactures as does everyone else..............

A friend of mine is a fitter for Autoglass and I had my screen replaced by him. I found that it was much more suseptible to stone chipping, it seemed to be a bit softer than the original.

Whatever you have fitted be bloody careful that the bugger doesn't cut through and damage whatever it is that provides the corrosion resistance. I had my screen replaced (before I bought the car) about 4 years ago and there is ow rust coming up under the paintwork at two places around the bonding. Subaru did not accept my claim against the corrosion warranty on this basis, together with the fact that the original owner had not bothered to have the early corrosion inspection done as part of the service history.

The bloke who did mine was a mate, and he painted undercoat (or whatever) on the small marks he made with the removal tool. He did a great job, and told me Autoglass got to do it ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
