For that sort of money your looking at a classic shaped STi, possably a MY99 rather than an MY00.
You would be very lucky to get an MY01 JDM STi unless it was accident damaged or had seriously high miles on it.
Also id look at a wider range of cars, the STi doesnt suit everyones needs due to harder suspension, thirstier and higher insurance (JDM cars on average will cost 50%+ more to insure than a UK car).
