Angry Badly let down by DR Motorsport

Ive just been informed that after 3 weeks of waiting for my order its lost somewhere in scotland.Normally David is second to none in service but this time is totally the opposite any one else had any trouble recently with them or is it just my luck.Unfortunately im not going to be about for a month now so looks like a full 2 months before i receive (if i do) my order

totally pi$$ed off

Would have been quicker to drive the 1200 mile round trip to collect it,i'll stick to suppliers nearer home in future

Pretty harsh if you have had good service in the past and this is a first time. I have always found David easy to deal with, interested and reliable.

Badly let down by DR Motorsport
Surely if your order has been lost "somewhere in Scotland" it cannot be the fault of DR Motorsport???

So from what i read of your 1st post it's a delivery problem?

HAs DR got his own courier company then?

Alan I wish I did have my own courier company - it would save me a fortune on costs.
But unfortunately these problems do occur from time to time - although this is the 2nd this week.

Daren, I'm disappointed that you feel I've let you down.
We got an e-mail from you last week asking about delivery, I said your P1 lip spoiler would be sent early this week. It was sent on Monday.
We got another this week, and this was when we realised it should have been delivered by then.
There's no other outstanding e-mails from you in our in box.
I also spoke to your wife on 5 occassions earlier today trying to trace this, and when we decided it must still be in Edinburgh, I said I would go to the main Parcelforce depot in Edinburgh myself to try and get this sorted out.

This I will do in the morning, then give you a call from there.

David

I know its frustrating and you are pi$$ed off but i have to say as a small trader myself most small companies do try their best, 1 bad report loses 10 good customers.

I have bought stuff from DR and found him ok.

I know its nice to have a rant but please bear in mind small companies who try to give good service dont need slagging off. Ok if loads and loads of people have bad reports on a company then fair enough.

Hope you get it sorted quickly tho m8

I can't fault DR motorsport from my dealings with them. Kudos to David for trying to sort this out.

When you're happy, please do post and let the forum know

I'm also gonna jump to Davids defence as I know someone who was waiting along time for a part & as soon he asked for a refund he was given it without any hesitation

yes, but when a rant is unjustfied and could damage someone's business then you're not entitled to it without facing the consequences of legal action in the extreme case

anyhow, all sorted, drm restored in everyone's good books

It was very justified for the reasons above but lets leave it eh.If you're going to keep whinging on about it go to the TT website and have a cry.

Cool

Bit harsh. In the dealings that i have had with DR Motorsports i can't fault him i had a problem with the carbon scoop. David had it collected and sorted it out in no time at all. He also kept me informed by phone as to the progress of the part. Nothing but great service.
