Hello all,
anyone know of somewhere round here that can fit a PPP chip to a WRX please (01 model) trying to get booked north of London with someone but if we can't get in there would be cool if there's someone round here that can help, also need some dials fitted,
thanks in advance,
Mike

hi, it's not too hard to change the ecu yourself, afterall i did.
mine is a my00, i don't know if the my01 is the same.... so if it isn't ignore the rest of this post.
the ecu is in the passanger footwell undr the carpet, just undo the two plastic screws top right and top left (not shown in photo) and pull back the carpet.
there's a metal plate underneath. undo the 4 bolts, one hidden at top, the edges are a bit sharp, try not to get your own blood on your ecu.
here's the green label ecu, only 2 more bolts to undo. pull out the connections on the left.
and replace with the new ecu.
then put everything back together..
cheers matt
