Question Days or Wilsons?

I've been using Days of Chelmsford for my servicing and haven't been all that impressed.

Without endangering SN with libel claims from dealerships, can people comment if they think Wilsons in Romford is better than Days?

Unless you have to for warranty purposes, I'd prefer to use www.xtremescoobies.co.uk

I used Days, but not Wilson's

Yeh, that was my intention after the warranty runs out in May. But I was just wondering if Days is about the standard for Subaru dealerships? I was dissapointed after Subaru won the JD Power survey about three times. The Alfa dealership in Chelmsford was more impressive.

Default Try Haddocks

You could give Haddocks a go just outside Colchester if they are not too far away for you, I think they are better than Days.

Wilsons everytime if your still under warranty, two bad experiances at days, plus you will find wilsons is a fair bit cheaper for exactly the same service as their labour rates are lower.

Wilsons no question, but ask them not to clean the car, I came away with green calipers after the last service.

Mine went into Haddocks for the first time today, not had a chance to check over the car yet. Didn't think price was too bad @ £441 for 60K.

I have has very bad service from Days.

I used to work at Wilsons for 2 years.

But, without doubt, xtremescoobies has given me the best service by far.

So out the 2 you mention then wilsons, but once warrenty runs out xtreme all the way!

I'll try Wilsons next time if it's before the warranty runs out as I work in Grays. It'll be Xtreme Scoobies after that although no loan car may be a problem.

Thanks lads.

So what kind of deal are they doing for you for getting them new customers then?

Only kidding. I'm looking forward to taking my car to someone who really cares for it rather than seeing it as a cash cow.

I'm a scoobie wannabe and in the summer booked a test drive at Days, as this is my nearest dealer. Turned up early but only got 5 mins run the block which is Gatso watched. Only got the turbo working once. Asked to get onto some dual carrageway to do above 30 mph but 5 mins was over. I walked away with the cash still in my pocket. Only good thing was the hint at MY 05. If that is the service to a potential customer NO WAY. I wondered why I spot more local Scoobs from Wilsons.
Just more ScoobyNet knowledge I'm absorbing before purchase -thanks guys

Aqua you did the right thing.
I purchased my MY00 new from Days, having had the pleasure of dealing with a guy called Richard Butler. He left soon after I bought mine, however it shows what a good salesman can do for an average dealer.

I was so impressed with him, that I wrote a letter of thanks for his enthusiastic and professional approach. He was so pleased to receive it that he proudly kept it on his desk

Yep a nicer bloke you couldn’t wish to meet. He remembered both my kids names every time we saw him, I know it means didly squat, but it's this kind of attitude towards the customer that is sadly missing. His test drive wasn’t bad either

I won't be buying another car off him though as I think he went to a BMW dealership

Had experience at Wilsons,Days and Haddocks, (when they firsted opened not good)
the other two never had a problem with sales at either, would favour Peter at Days over Clive at Wilsons (Brought from Days and when he was at Colchester). Service well yes once at Wilsons very good and Days looked after but feel that is due to speaking and getting it all booked in by Peter in the Sales Dept.

Got to agree with Hales Sales at Days is the Best

I Bought my sti from Days of Chelmsford last September and they have done all my servicing and fitted accessories. Very good service, care and quality of work.
What more can I say, very impressed indeed. I get on well with the guys and they always do a top job.
