I am looking for feedback on servicing with Northants Subaru at Wood Burcott near Bicester. (An Indepenant Mechanic). Prices,confidence etc.

I usually use Oakley Garage at Oakley,Beds but they do not open Sats. and is always bit of a hassle dropping off car and picking up again during the week as I live in Millton Keynes.

i have used northants subaru twice now first time 90k service £450 all in and second time for o/s rocker gasket £60. steve is a very nice helpful chap and gives good advise, his work is good and at reasonable prices, well i thought so.on both visits dropped my car of and collected it after 7 pm as only time available and not a problem for him to meet me at that time. i would definatly recomend them and will use them again.

ps im in northampton and we meet every first sunday in the month, are there any mk meets or is it just that cruise thing at the hockey stadium?

Was not happy with the Northampton subaru dealer after they buggered up the Maf sensor ,twice!!
Have used Northampton tyres since then and you get twice the service for half the cost.....
Would definately recommend them over the dealer...

What's wrong with MK Subaru??? Drew is a top chap and my service today cost me £41!!! Official Subaru dealer as well.

Thanks Lukey, I live quite near and so he is going to collect car, so will not have to take time off work which is a hassle.
I do not know of any meets in MK but there is a web site address in the new Scooby magazine with a local Bucks Group I assume they must meet locally at times.

FunkeyMonkey it may interest you that Oakley Garage still open for servicing etc. but not a franchise dealer.
Infact phoned them a couple of days ago to see if they had started working Saturdays.
Same staff and mechanics etc. Still wear Scooby jackets etc!!!

MK Subaru have been great for me, top service every time.

Take mine to Westway Motors in Northants, been great so far.

Wasn't confident with MK Subaru, i called them, said i had a MY99 RB5. They then asked if it was an import. I never called back.
