Default Scooby Mania's 462BHP Car

I read this article today (in Banzai, I think). Don't recall seeing the costs for the conversion. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Any views on this company?

Thanks

WB

Sorry but I may have posted a miss leading comment on my Thread and thought better to delete it than cause problems My excuse was I was on nights an keyboard was spelling Cr4p

Copied this From the web site and IIRC £8-9K ish wich seemd VGVFM in IMHO

################################################## ######
On our demonstrator car we have achieved 452BHP & 372lb/ft. (Using Shell Optimax and millers octane booster).
This runs on OEM engine internals. Peak power was at just over 1.5 Bar boost

This is to the best of our knowledge the highest horsepower 2.0Litre Impreza in Europe running on factory (un-touched) engine internals and (virtually) standard fuel.
Kit has uprated injectors, Garret Turbocharger, custom exhaust system (with external wastegate) FMIC, GEMS ECU, tuned length headers, custom up & downpipes leaving the Turbo 'clocked' to suit garret Turbo housings (4 bolt) motorsport fuel pump and regulator, custom induction kit and a range of additional modifications.

This kit is available now

Yep nothing more sinister than a Cr4p keyboard you know how easy it is to upset peeps so I deleted before being Flamed

Whoops back on topic Scoobymania been around a long time and has a good reputation IIRC, never heard anything bad about them But as I haven't every been there myself, so no firsthand experience.

Sounds interesting. It would be good to see the performance figures published, especially if they took the time and trouble to dyno the engine. That should block out the sceptics.

I still don't hear anything about the longevity/suitability of the diffs/gearbox/transmission in this application, which again is data that we out to know. I would not fancy spending circa £20K on this type of upgrade only to change transmission bits every 5 mins!

Meanwhile, until we know, I wish these guys every success. Its about time we gave the Evo boys something to worry about.
