Just paid (in theory) £188 for mine, but the front pads needed replacing bringing the bill up to £340! (Yes, I'll do my own next time I think!).

How many miles do you get from pads?

Well I got 20k miles from my fronts (not changed rears yet), but I think it varies hugely based on driving style and motorway vs A/B roads.

More worrying was that I was told that discs usually need replacing at 20k or 30k - ouch!!
