Finally got a reply from them, even though the website says posted Monday, they actually didn't get posted till today. A very odd way to conduct business....

I will wait and see what sort of quality they are before making any further comments...

got my detangoed front end from these people via a group buy on this site, after a week of waiting, i posted on the group buy section, had a moan! 3 days latter i recived the parts , along with a letter, carefully written of cousre, goin on about problems, they had, and not to post my concernces over the verious sites i post on , ie scoobynet, and i could have sorted it with them. NO AS THEY DID NOT REPLY TO MY EMAILS before hand.
Cheers Richie

Lights arrived this morning, good quality components, they need to do i little work on there sales support i feel.

I got a letter explaining also, whats with the "don't post any netural or negative feedback" thing? People have a right to know.

It appears most are very happy with flat4online, so thay have not got anything to worry about, just insure that the website order status is correct and everybody will be happy....

Exactly the same happened to me. Crystal pack arrived quite quickly but the bulbs were missing and were posted a week later!

Then the letter arrived begging me not to put negative feedback on Ebay, saying things could be dealt with in an "adult" fashion. Almost implies that leaving honest feedback is childish.

Good product though.

agree on the sales support mate, ordered a replacement uppipe from them and had big delay. kept being told they were posted or will be posted over next few days to be told after a week of waiting they were held up in customs!! very disappointed in the after sales but they did refund me quickly.

Ordered some Sti lights from him and was supposed to be next day but took three weeks!!

Didnt reply to my emails either until I threatened him with neg feedback, then he said there in the post!!

So much for advertising next day.

Hi guy's a customer sent me a link to this so I thought I would say hello.

There are a couple of things though I have read in this post which give the wrong impression.

Regarding "stormy's" wont reply to support tickets, I received a support ticket on Friday afternoon and another one at around 8 on Friday evening, Friday afternoon was busy and I do try to reply to all e-mails and support tickets within 2 working days, I stayed back till 10pm to answer all e-mails and support tickets and replied to stormys when it was next in line.
Flat4online is required by law to provide a full address and phone number, it is on our website if you look you can easily contact us by e-mail orders@flat4online.co.uk

http://www.flat4online.co.uk/catalog/shipping.php

I do appreciate stormy's order was not shipped untill Friday which is a different matter and one which is hopefully closed apart for the bulbs.
Normally in this case I would offer a refund, free postage, a gift or discount on next purchase but it depends on the tone of the customer.

Regarding "Ritchies" letter, I believe we quickly sold out of stock of the crystal packs due to the success of the group buy and were waiting on more stock arriving, and going by the "tone" of Ritchies first contact with us I thought I would send a letter out of courtousy asking him to contact us before leaving any negative feedback on any forums, no specific forums were mentioned and we did reply to all contact by "Ritchie" within 2 working days. I am happy with the time we took to get more stock in and ship Ritchie his order.

Regarding Pauleds2 "begging" you not to leave feedback, dont kid yourself son. I did ask Pauleds2 to contact us for a refund if he was not happy with the product or the time taken to receive the order, or any other matter, this letter or sometime's e-mail (order update) goes to every single customer, regardless of whether their order is shipped the same day or next week.
I dont think its a case of "people have a right to know", its a case of trying to build a good relationship with my customers and not closing the door on them after the sale is done.
This is one reason why I want to build good customer relationships because sometimes people dont realise or dont care what they are writing on a forum can give a totaly false perspective of the type of company being discussed.

Have a look here for a completely different perspective....

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...t4online-co-uk

Regarding scoobychip's up-pipe, you placed the order and contact me to say you required the up-pipe urgently, I told you we were waiting on stock and offered you a full refund so you could buy one from someone who had one in stock, you contacted me a couple of days later and said if it wasnt going to arrive by the given date could I refund you so you could buy one elsewhere.
I told you it wasnt going to be here and processed your refund.
Never once were you told your up-pipe was posted, you were fine when you spoke to us, what are you talking about on here?

Jake your sti lights were "in the post" when they cleared customs and we got them in stock, NOT because you threatened negative feedback.

There are and will continue to be orders not shipped the same day, we ship 99% of customers orders the same day and any customer who orders from our site has a 7 day cooling off period where they are intitled to "by law" a full refund.

Most importantly I am very encouraged to see previous and new customers are very happy with Flat4online and will purchase again thank you, as the business grows you will continue to see even more exciting new products and prices

Regards

I had to threaten neg feedback because I couldn't get you on your advertised number and wouldn't answer my emails.

If you didnt have them in stock thats fine but you should have mentioned that when I placed the order because I was expecting them to arrive a lot sooner.

I would like to mention that Scott did refund me the postage costs. And he was the cheapest I could find and for that reason I will probably order from him again.

Flat4online, would it be possible to have online stock availablity on your website? Not sure how easy that is to implement.

Also get the order status correct, its a very usefull tool, and all will be well, as i said the quality of the lights i received was excellent, when they finally arrived.

BTW i did get the impression you care about your customers, because once you finally got in contact, you were very apologetic and informative.....

It was implemented when I built the site, I might use it again but for the moment it stays off. Just ask if your not sure what is in stock

The order status is not a problem and was related to your sale only.

I for one have deal regularly with Scott at Flat4online and have NEVER had a problem, Parts have always arrived the next day and have always been as qouted (I have bought used stuff from him and it has arrived here and looks like new!)

Everyone is entitled to mistakes, etc but niether Scott's business or mine can control the "mother Nature" of our businesses ie, CUSTOMS AND EXCISE!

I only know Scott in a business sense but as I businessman to another, I say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! I am more than happy!

I've used flatfour and would definately buy from them again. It's all too easy for companies to get tarred with a sticky brush following a problem by one person. Every company in the whole world will suffer from a problem now and then resulting in a complaint, it doesn't mean they are bad or unreliable as a whole, just that someone has had bad luck to experience it.

I've used flat4online, and the goods have arrived promptly, and have been fine, my only gripe is that he don't like answering telephones, a mate wanted to buy an intercooler from him, and he tried ringing him for a week, but no answer, so my mate got an I/C elsewhere

Cornelius the phone rings non stop mate, if I had to answer every call it would take up a large part of my day, no use to customers I know and probably frustrating on both sides but not much I can do about it untill I hire someone to take care of it for me, tell you m8 sorry if he was trying to contact me for a week I was in Barbados honest

E-mail and you will get a reply.

Just to add I would recommend Flat4, I ordered some side repeaters and carbon fiber STI side marker replacements, the side markers were out of stock so Scott sent me a set of crystal side markers free of charge. Today I have recieved the STI side markers. I found that Scott always replied to my emails promptly with all the required info, it would be nice for other parts suppliers to take note.

Cheers Scott
