Anybody know who the new Subaru dealer is going to be and when they open in Bury, Suffolk?

I also noticed the Subaru signs have come down from Welch in Cambridge to be replaced by another company......anyone know anything?

I've also wondered what's going on at Welch's - they are only shown on SUK's site as a parts and servicing dealer now, not sales. I first spotted something was different when they had an ad in the Newmarket Journal two weeks ago selling import Forester STi's under the name of "www.subaruspecialists.co.uk".

The Forester is in there tomorrow morning for its first service, i'll see what info I can get out of Kevin.

IM in their own inimitable fashion (shock, horror) made it uneconomical for Welch's to bother with new Subaru car sales. They are still an official Subaru service, repair and s/h sales dealer though. Appears to be nothing to stop them selling or servicing imports though so if you want to buy an import or get yours serviced that's the place to go

EMG Ford have indeed set up a new Subaru dealership in Bury St Edmunds - more choice for me living near Newmarket
