Hah, my first post .

I've just picked up my new-to-my '93 Legacy GT (twin turbo) last night and obviously am a happy bunny seeing that the "new car" feeling hasn't worn off yet.

That said, I'll have to drive it to France on the Bank Holiday w/e and I'd like to get its vital fluids (engine and slushbox oils) changed before I set off. As I don't have the time to do it myself I was just wondering if someone had a recommendation for a decent mechanic in North London/Herts who could do the job?

Xtreme Scoobies in Chelmsford service mine...might be a little far for you though.

 

Unfortunately it's too far - I need someplace I can drop the car off in the morning, chuck the keys through the door and pick it up in the afternoon...

Ridgeway garages (used to be Lavender Hill) up near Enfield might be able to help. They used to be a Subaru dealer, and I believe they still do servcing (and parts).

There's an independent Subaru garage over in Park Royal, ANG, who have a good rep on here 0208 963 0333. Not North London but they are walking distance from the central line.
