Hello!
Does anyone have experience with the company "Japanese Used Cars" ???
http://www.japaneseusedcars.com
I would like to import a used car from Japan, but I'm held back by the idea of paying a lot of money and then hoping for the car to be delivered. So I'm trying to find a trustworthy company, which others have good experience with.
Cheers!
Ruud.

Why go thought the hassle of importing it yourself when you could buy one which has already been imported. There are lots of specialists like litchfield imports or neweraimports.

I was going to buy a Evo 6 Tommi Makininen last April from Bristol Import Centre. Living in London I knew I would havre to make two trips. On the first I got them to value my car which they did at £4,500. There care was at £15k. I got them down to £14,500 asked them to fit an alarm, proper fog light in the bumper and move my stereo over on the day of purchase.
When I went to pick up the car they tried to change the deal and make me pay another £500 on top.
In the end I left without the evo and went on to get a Type R many months later.
All I'll say is beware!!!
