Warranty book states services have to be carried out within 1000 miles either side of the due mileage - anyone know how this works with the months.

What I'm trying to say is the service book says the service can be carried out 1000 miles either side of the due mileage
eg, 7500 mile service can be carried out between 6500 & 8500 miles but is there any tolorence in the months ie 6 month service can be carried out between the 5th and 7th months.
