Ok..have now checked my Scooby paperwork file and in June last year I paid £350 incl VAT/labour/parts (spark plugs, oils, fuel filter etc) for my 24 month service. Labour element was £153 + VAT. No SIDC or other discounts incl.

This was on a MY99 at Quenbys (Baldock, Herts).

Just had mine done Pete, phoned 4 garages in the south east, the cheapest were Barrets £400 and Spring Park £420. Thats without SIDC discount which they both give. I went with Spring Park because they were a lot nearer.

Cheers,
Andrew.

I would ring them for their current price 01908 326600.

I've had all my services since 7.5K done there - they are the cheapest in the area (either them or Adams Aylesbury (who were always more expensive by a far way)).

Good - well they do what it says in the book - no full synth oil though if you want that then supplyt it yourself (thats what I did).

Last time I was there for the 37.5k t'other week they didnt have any used Scoobs though - didnt ask what was going one - although have to say went in a month ago and they had loads used + 1 P1s and a UK 300.

Confused ?

More than satisfied with service - xcept the justy ! Even my 5 year old said - "doesnt go very fast dad" !

Question

Would you believe that Lancaster, Pangbourne want £480!!!!????

20% ABOVE the Norm!!!???

Wide berth there then - £80 will buy a lot of petrol to get somewhere else - consider it a FREE drive!!

after phoning my main 2 dealers here's what i found out:

Tileys (Bristol) offer the 30k service for £458 (inc VAT)
Listers (Worcester) offer the 30k service for £455 (inc VAT)

Tileys give 10% off Labour to SIDC members
Listers give 10% off Parts and Labour to SIDC members

(You have to take your SIDC card to both to get the discount).

Cool

Gibsons of Brock (it's near Preston for you southern softies ) quote £286.15 on their web site. Sure they aren't authorized Subaru dealers anymore (they were up until about a year ago, only stopped because they got into importing from Europe) but I'm tempted for my 2 year - 22700 service.
