Dealer Warranty Assistance on Used Car - Anyone Needed It?
#1
Hi all
Has anyone ever needed to capitalise on the Subaru Approved Dealer Warranty on a used car (normally out of new car warranty)?
If so, were all parts and labour covered and paid for or did you have to foot the bill for anything?

i've not had a claim for parts yet, but i've used the assistance recovery bit.
I had a small bump in the scooby, phoned them up and within half an hour a tow truck turned up and took me and the car home.
sorted.

Had piston slap on 97MY which was covered by the Proven warranty. Didn't incure any costs, just had to chase them for paperwork to prove work had been done.
Apparently they don't like to give any paperwork to customers when warranty is done.
