Hi all

I'm due for the 22,500 miles service and would like the views of anyone who's used this dealer.
I think there have a bit a cheek really, £10 per day for the courtesy car, is this the norm?
Forgot to ask the price aswell, any idea's?

I had the 22500 miles service done this morning at FR Pulleyn (York). It cost £96 all in. They did it while I waited.

Cheers,

Ian.

Pulleyn's are a Subaru dealer and provide an excellent service. Speak to Nick, my 22K service cost £85, earlier this year.

Yep they're a Subaru dealer. I travel an hour to get there but its worth it. I've had the last three services carried out there without any probs.

Cheers,

Ian.

I've used KT Greens before and they were ok - never charged me either for that crappy Justy they lent me either. No wonder the Impreza feels good when you get it back, anything would after you've driven a 4WD Justy...

Well, ever since they fitted a ramair panel to my MY00 despite a prodrive warning not no, then charging me for 11 sump washers when they used one, then wanting over 420 quid for the 30k service I've gone elsewhere.

I would recommend Robinsons of Rochdale for servicing. They were over 100 quid cheaper for the same 30k service, plus gave me a test drive in their new STI whilst I waited. They also give SIDC discount.

I'm sure KT Green just made a series of errors with me, which is unfortunate as they're about 4 miles away from me.

KT Green also fitted a Ram-Air filter to my MY00 which knackered the MAF. The staff are friendly enough but there is one guy who I would like punch the crap out of. I have used TSL in Nottingham for servicing the MY01 even though I live in Leeds.

My MY01 is currently in at the bodyshop at KT Green having my stonechips attended to before I sell it. So I am driving round in an old Justy loan car which is appalling. I have parked it up tonight and will use my Land Rover until the Scoob is ready.

Cheers

I pity Chiark having his car serviced at Robinsons of Rochdale! I wouldnt trust them with a F*****G wheelbarrow..........
The old team of mechanics at Robinsons that i used to converse with well have left, where the new team has come from i dont know. But they certainly lack knowledge of Subaru`s. I think the modern term for them are FITTERS. I thought you only get these at Kwik-Fit. Not somewhere to be trusted with my Scoob.
Although i`m an independant K.T.Greens is a dealers that i would recommend.

Hey Chiark if you are just 4 miles from KT Green's do you fancy coming on a Northern meet I'm trying to arrange with Jaycee ?

(Sorry to hijack the thread)

PS open offer to anyone - see "Northern" events.

Well here we are again, makes no difference if its Listers, Adams or Robinsons. There will always be someone ready to slag em off.

I know people who won't use Greens/Gouldens, so it all comes down to a personal perspective. Having tried others I've regularly used the Rochdale outfit and their senior mechanics have been there some time. Sufficient to be entrusted to rebuild from scratch one 22B and two P1 engines anyway.

The only problem I've had is that they're so busy it's often necessary to book a service weeks in advance. They also offer an SIDC discount and, until it's sale, were the "official" dealer for a notoriously quick P1
