Default Buying my first STI

Hi all

After owning a variety Honda Type R's, s2000, RX7 etc over a 12 year period, I'm now moving on and looking to buy my first blue blob eye STI with PPP hopefully

Im going to view a few they have from Redline Performance in Manchester like this,
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...xample/1094505
Anyone have any experiences of them?

Looking for a standard or lightly tuned example around the 280- 300ish bhp mark

Any advice/tips would be much appreciated for a newbie.

Cheers
Ray

The car looks clean and is well priced when you go to look at it just spend some time looking through the service history and make sure they can show you a hpi check,if you are not that good mechanically bring someone with you that is.the wheels have been changed as they are not the O.E wheels that come with the Subaru 2003 type uk sti but could of been a option I'm not to sure, the only thing that baffles me is why he has blanked the number plate out I would of thought that coming from a dealer he would want to be as transparent as possible but maybe I'm over thinking.SJ.

Thats a good point on the number plate, i will run my own checks when i see the plate.

Any other pointers from anyone to look out for on this particular model year?
