Excellent! Free diff is always a bonus. If unsure of what oil has been used. Drop the diff oil and replace with proper stuff

That's my thinking but do I have to use a different gear box oil as front diff being LSD ? Or was it LSD stock so can use the normal recommended oil?

Those Cusco diffs are amazing but you will have to learn how to drive with them. Yes the sound is perfectly normal. You will however under steer badly if you haven't had them on a car before. To get the best out of them in my experience you need to keep throttle on to get the cusco diffs to work, left foot breaking is ideal for controlling your corner entry speed. If you can master them you will be very impressed with your car.

They do sing a little especially off throttle.

It sounds like a kinda dog box at certain speeds and off throttle . And when you pull away out of juntion very slowly you can kinda feel it all doing something if you can understand . Now is the sound normal if it has both cusco LSD's fitted? I kinda like the sound but want to check it should make that noise also the importers did oil change on diff and box as part of full service before I collected it could it be they havnt used a LSD oil and its louder? If so what oil should I be using and how does that work for gear box oil for centre diff??
Sorry for lots of questions
I fitted a cusco plated front diff in my v1 Ra when I repaired the box.
like yours it does feel/sound strange when slowly exiting junctions. This is a characteristic of plated diffs .
As a daily driver you would prob get fed up with it.. my car is mainly used for sprinting and occasional road use.

Thank you mine isn't a daily car so that's not a issue. I'm going to fit motul 90pa in rear not sure what to fit in box tho? As not 100% it has a front Cusco as the recipets in Japanese but I think it has as just feels different
