Can anyone tell me if I can plug an STI ECU straight in to my standard 2000 turbo.

Cheers

Apparently not - according to the info on the ecutek website.

Different wiring and the sti relies on an extra air temp sensor that the uk cars don't have.

Check it out - www.ecutek.co.uk/tuning/oemcompare/

Nick.

The cam and crank position sensor signals are reversed to stop you firing the engine accidentally. The STi has a different turbo, different cam setup, forged pistons. The program in it is completely inappropriate. I can reprogram an STi ECU using a UK car and vice versa, but cannot test the map and start the car.
