Fitted today so thought I'd post some pics. Wasn't too difficult, a few of the old pipes were a bit tricky to get off but nothing major
Don't know if I'm imagining it but the car feels smoother to drive and held boost seems to be slightly better, much less jerky on lift off too......

Ian,
Got them from Graham Goode - www.grahamgoode.com and superb service I have to say - was very impressed. Usual disclaimers etc, don't work for 'em, just a satisfied customer.
Cheers
Neil.

Yeah, that's probably the bit, why isn't it screwed in the downpipe though?
I 2nd that GG are very hot on customer service. If every trader was as nice good as them what a wonderful place we would live in
Where the pipes easy to fit, thinking of getting some pipes myself my I'm a bit useless with a spanner.

I also got some Samco pipes from GGR the other day. Hugely impressed with their service too; rang them at about 11am, they checked they had the stuff there and then and I then received it at 7.30am the next morning. Very good.
Out of interest I notice that your pipes are routed differently; I can see you have an aftermarket DV. I assume that it's a VTA one however where does the "spare" pipe now go? (indicated by yellow arrow)
PS. [homer]Defi...mmmmmmm[/homer]

Floyd, I was waiting for someone to say that They were 86 quid all in and delivery was exceptionally fast. Ordered at 1:30pm delivered at 9 the next morning
Not the cheapest but most places I contacted were either out of stock or had to order from Samco first and I'm an impatient bugger
John, it is screwed into the DP mate, you just can't really see it from that angle Its a magnex twin dump.......
As for fitting, took about an hour max and trust me, if I can do it then anyone can!!! You undo the 2 intercooler bolts, slacken the jubilee clips onto the inlet manifold and the turbo. Remove the dv and then just sort of lift and wiggle the intercooler clear. Turn it on its back, careful not to bend the fins, then undo the T-piece and fit new one. While intercooler is off fit the new recirc pipe. In true Haynes stylee, refitting is a reversal of removal
Simon - correct, its a Forge VTA dv which makes the other bit of piping redundant (the recirc pipe) but I fitted it anyway. The dv is supplied with a metal end piece that blanks it off. I tucked it up there by the intercooler to stop it flapping around and rattling......
