Hello All,
I have ordered a Scoobysport rear Exhaust backbox for my 1997 Impreza Catalunya Turbo.
Is there anything I need to know whilst fitting it ?? No gaskets or exhaust putty required for sealing ??
Is it just a clamp on Job with the new one ??
Cheers
Gary.

For a complete guide to fitting a SS backbox please visit

Alternatively do what I did and take it to your nearest exhaust centre and let them do it for £15-20. It's your money it's your choice. Hope this is of help.

I fitted mine myself with the aid of a mate, took about 20 mins start to finish. Trickiest bit was getting the rubber hangers on and off (spray with WD40 to make them nice and slippy).
Mine was a fairly new car so you may need to spray some penetrating oil on the bolts a few hours before just to free them up a bit.
It might also be worth getting a new gasket as on an older car the original might fall apart.
Hope this helps, you won't be able to stop smiling when you've got it on
