Default Clutch Issues

The clutch in my Hawk STi is just really inconsistent. Sometimes it can feel smooth, with a decent biting point and then at other times the bite is high, the clutch judders and when the car is really hot, it will slip under full boost.

The engine was out for a build last year and the clutch was inspected with a newly skimmed flywheel installed with everything given the all clear. There was an issue with the clutch action then and it was thought I might need a new slave cylinder. Some further bleeding of the clutch seemed to help and I’ve driven it that for a year or so now.

Heat seems to affect the engagement and operation of the clutch. I fitted a new slave and bled everything thoroughly again and all seemed much better...until the car was hot again and sat in traffic.

Anyone had anything similar? I’m tempted to swap the master cylinder now and also replace the clutch hose.
