Will hopefully be picking an MY00 Turbo up next week and want to get that fantastic flat four warble singing. Which of these two is better purely on a judgement of sound? No I dont want a HKS Hiper or Blitz Nurspec (not just yet anyway). No Im not worried about excess noise in the cabin. Just want the best sounding of the two.

Thanks,
Simon.

Not sure this is going to help, but I'm leaning towards getting the TSL one because it looks OEM (you can have twin exit pipes).

TBH either way Im going for the single tube backbox so doesnt have any bearing on my decision - but thanks for the input anyways.

Simon.

I have a TSL centre and a scoobysport bb and a OE catted downpipe. The sound is great on throttle but constant speed its not much worse that a normal system. I didnt want to go for the DP as it hassle come MOT time and no hassle of the cops if I get stopped. Changing the DP realistically would have meant buying a centre cat as mine had the STI resonator centre without a cat.

Cheers

Thumbs up

If it helps I heard the sound of the TSL backbox on their WRX demonstrator yesterday and, IMHO, its a great sound. Not intrusive in the car but if you drive with the rear windows down, for example, you can hear the "attitude" in the sound. Warble on idle is awesome.

Problem is exhausts, like wine, are a very personal thing. I suggest you get a listen to both if you can and make up your own mind.

Cheers

WB

ScoobyK has TSL Center and BB. Quality is superb and as for the sound, well I've yet to hear a better one.

I've had SS, Magnex and PPP BB's, but the TSL has it on both looks and soundtrack.
