i seem to be finding far too many problems with my car at the moment [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] just took off my DP to get at the uppipe and found this, is this bad? (think i know the reply

come to think of it, i've got a couple under my bench and both of those have cracks in them

The legacy IHI, seems to crack more so than the TD05 mitsi unit. I wouldnt worry about it. Havent seen any later IHI VF 22/23 type crack though, but I havent seen too many of them either.

i'm gonna run with it for now and see how long it lasts, not noticed any noises or loss of power yet (not until i get a turbine wedged in my downpipe 
)
