Question

My 98MY turbo has started making a constant noise from the rear which could possibly be wheel bearing but as this is my first 4 wheel drive car i'm paranoid that it could be something else, can anyone put my mind at rest or suggest any other possible explinations before i get it checked out properly, replies along the lines of "don't worry paul this happened to mine and it only cost me 69p to fix"gratefully apriciated

Most likely wheel bearing, but could be tyre pressure or wheel alignment.

I recently had both the front and rear drivers side wheel bearings go.

I was paranoid it was a problem with shafts of the diff, as the noise was hurrendous. Very very loud!!!!!!!!

Anyway had them both done now and all is 100%,amazing the difference it made, not only on noise but to the steering response
