Pipercross's new Viper induction kit???
#1
Has anyone purchased Pipercross's new 'Viper' induction kit for a pre MY01?
If so what are the results as regards to performance improvements as there should be significantly cooler air going in over a conventional induction kit? Any r/road printouts. How much was it, in the region of £200 no doubt. Any info would be very useful as I am toying with a purchase

got the bmc carbon airbox on my car, same idea as the viper but has better air flow, looks better and costs less.
the down side is its not a direct replacement.
inside is a k&n type filter so its safer for the maf too

I'm using a Green Filters "Twister" on my car (cased cotton cone) which is much cheaper and works well.
The ducting kit will also JUST fit through the standard hole into the wing for early cars.
You will need to speak to them first if you are using the standard ECU as you will need an adapter to the MAF.
Thanks
Gavin
